Straight answers — so you know what you're getting before the first invoice goes out.

Do I need to switch accounting software?
No. We work in whatever you're already running — QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, or a spreadsheet you've been limping along with. If a move makes sense down the road, we'll tell you why and handle it. You won't be learning new software to get started.
What if my books are a mess right now?
That's exactly where most people start. We run a catch-up cleanup first (from $385, quoted up front), get you current, then roll straight into a monthly rhythm. You never have to be "caught up" before you call — getting you caught up is the job.
Is there a contract or setup fee?
No long-term contract and no setup fee for standard onboarding. Packages bill monthly and you can adjust or stop with 30 days' notice. The only one-time cost you'd ever see is catch-up work, and we price that before we begin.
How fast will my books close each month?
Every account is reconciled to the penny by the 10th of the following month, assuming your statements are available. Payroll runs on your pay schedule, not ours — your people get paid on time, every period.
Do you handle both W-2 and 1099 people?
Both. Full-cycle payroll covers your W-2 team with direct deposit and tax filings, and we track and file for your 1099 contractors too — including year-end 1099 prep so nobody's chasing paperwork in January.
Can you work with my CPA at tax time?
Absolutely — most of our clients keep their own CPA for the return. We hand off a clean, labeled package (trial balance, statements, schedules) they can file straight from, which usually means a smaller tax-prep bill for you and zero last-minute scrambling.
